hey.
Ive been looking at starting up a new company and i need to secure around £5,000 - £7,000.
Ive heard that their are some places out their that provide grants and the like for new startups, ive heard also that the goverment can provide such grants.
So id just like to know if anybody knew of any information that would be helpfull, ive had a look around on the internet but so far i havnt come up with anything of interest.

Clearing Customers Credit Card Balances, using Consumer Credit Legislation.
The problem being,you do not get paid for 6 Months, and does it work.

I’ve just started a high tech business. I was until recently working in the packaging labs for a multinational. I’m looking to re-create their next generation project myself. Technically this is very difficult and i have very little money. So i’m looking to spin the company into a University science park. In return for some equity they offer technical advice and guidance on getting research and development grants.

Does anyone have experience of University science parks? What can i expect? Any advice?

Is anyone else finding it difficult to work in this cold? I’m sitting at my pc with multiple layers on - t-shirt, tank-top, and two cardigans - have a crocheted blanket over my knees (I’m not kidding) and I’m still hunched up with the cold. I’d be tempted to go for a charge around the block to warm up but am worried I might get blown away…
